AoR Open Portsmouth

Firstly may I wish all of you a very happy and prosperous 2015.

To kick off the new year, I would like to remind all AoR members that we have our first committee meeting this evening at the Conservative Club in Raunds at 8.00pm.  The topic of the AGM will be on the agenda and also finalising preparations for the weekend’s Open Portsmouth.  It would therefore be great if as many AoR members could support Roy and the committee by coming along.

Please also give consideration to the AoR Open Portsmouth Tournament at the weekend.  Richard and several committee members have been working hard on filling places and getting ready for our main indoor event.  This is a popular annual shoot and an opportunity to start the New Year with a great showcase event for the club.

There are still some places available on the first session and just a couple of places left on the second and third sessions.  Even if you are new to the club (or new to archery in one of our neighbouring clubs) please consider taking part in this tournament.  Shot over 20 yards in an extremely friendly atmosphere, this tournament is one of the best to experience the excitement and challenge of shooting in a professionally run archery tournament.

Please contact myself or Richard ( for more details or to register your place on this tournament.

Many thanks,
