Win a hamper full of goodies

20150414_112723Following on from the recent success of the Pin the Tail on the Donkey competition, Geoff and Kerry have come up with an even better competition and a lovely hamper prize.

The hamper contains 4 place settings of cutlery and plates mounted into the hamper basket, a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolates, jam, biscuits, crackers and fruit pies.  So  all you need are a couple of glasses, some sunshine and a map to pick a great place for a day out and a picnic.

The hamper is up for grabs to both AoR archers and visitors with GNAS cards.  The cost to enter is just £1.00 for three arrows and this is the same cost for both seniors and juniors.

Using a club bow and three club arrows as supplied only, adults will shoot at a target set at 30 metres and juniors (U18) will shoot a distance of 20 metres.  The aim of the competition is to be the nearest arrow to a point market on the target face.  The closest person will be noted on the target face and this will roll over each session until beaten or the competition ends.

As always, Geoff will act as judge for this competition and his decision will be final in any dispute.  The shoot may result in a head to head shoot off which will be held at the end of the competition or at a mutual convenient time as arranged by Geoff.

This competition will run on every Saturday until 25th July.  So please support Geoff and the club by bringing along a pound or two and have a go at winning the hamper.  These competitions are an important fund raiser for the club, they are also great fun and usually throw up an unlikely winner – it just might be you!!!

If you need any more details, please see Geoff on the shooting field.
